Rachel Greene

Dancesport Instructor

Born into a musical family, Rachel Greene has been involved in the performing arts since the age of three when she began singing and dancing in musical theatre. Throughout her childhood she performed in regional theater as a dancer, singer and actor and began her studies in ballet, jazz and tap dancing as well as vocal training.

Rachel attended LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, (The Fame School), and graduated their conservatory program in drama.

While in college Rachel discovered a love for singing opera and art songs and later was a featured artist with the Riverside Choral Society, performing in such venues as Alice Tully Hall in New York City. As part of her vocal studies Rachel was advised to continue her training in movement and so she took up ballroom dance. She began with Salsa and Hustle, which today remain her specialties and greatest passion.  She soon added other styles of dance, which culminated in the completion of DanceSport’s teacher training program. She continues to work as a voice over artist and singer in New York City and is excited and proud to join DanceSport’s star team of instructors.
