DS teachers host the evening and some of the greatest dancers in the city join us. You may even see one of our students, teachers, or guest artists perform an impromptu Tango - that will surely inspire you.
We look forward to having you join us!

El Recodo on Sunday nights at DS have become a classic among the Tango community in NYC. This night began nine years ago in a desire to give both beginning and advanced dancers a great Buenos Aires style environment for enjoying dancing to the best Tango music possible. We named this milonga El Recodo in honor of the great Tango song by the same name - which in Spanish means... a cozy place to gather and dance.
